Training formats and timers

What does the round count mean on a workout timer?

The round count depends on the format. In HIIT, a round is one pass through the planned work intervals. In AMRAP, it counts the full circuits you complete. In EMOM, the programmed count sets the number of minutes.

A HIIT session with three rounds and four work intervals per round schedules twelve work intervals. In AMRAP, log a round after the final exercise of each circuit. An eight-minute EMOM starts a task at the beginning of each minute.
